Emergency Animal Care

We sincerely hope that your pet never has an emergency; however, in the event that they do, please call us immediately. We’ll prepare for your arrival and treat your pet as soon as you bring them in. Emergencies always take priority at our hospital during regular office hours. Symptoms indicative of an emergency can include:

  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Blood in stool or vomit
  • Trauma (hit by car, lacerations, attacked by another dog/cat, etc.)
  • Bite wounds
  • Seizures
  • Weakness
  • Lethargic
  • Lack of appetite
  • Continuous bleeding
  • Possible broken bones
  • Fever
  • Heatstroke
  • Collapse
  • Loss of consciousness

Referral Emergency Animal Hospitals

Since we are not an emergency animal hospital, we do not have late evening or early morning hours. If your pet is in dire need of medical attention and our office is closed, the following emergency hospitals are available to you.
