Dr. Jennifer Steel
Veterinarian
Dr. Jennifer Steel earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Furman University before graduating from Purdue University’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. While she loves all aspects of veterinary care, she has a particular passion for behavior and nutrition, helping pets and their families thrive. Dr. Steel has also become Fear Free Certified to further help pets feel at ease and to remedy behavior challenges.
As the child of an Army family, Dr. Steel grew up around the world, but she proudly calls Fayetteville, North Carolina, her hometown. Before settling in Maryland, she practiced in Titusville, Florida, gaining a wealth of experience along the way.
Dr. Steel shares her life with Noel, her spirited border collie/shepherd mix, who keeps her active and inspired. Outside the clinic, she enjoys running, hiking, biking, and long walks with Noel. Her latest challenge? Tackling triathlons! When she’s not outdoors, you can often find her with a good book in hand.
